I really don't understand why this place is so popular! This is our second, and last visit. Coffee is bad, food is standard, at best, and service is scattered. Today, we had the pleasure of being asked to move to a different table so they could seat a large party. Granted, they helped us carry our silverware, waters, coffees and fruit cup but is that the way you are supposed to treat your customers? The repeated thanks were welcomed, but still!

I sm gluten free and Diana's understands gluten free... no cross contamination. Family historyof GF at Diana's so they truly 'get it'!! And the best GF pancakes to be found. First time I ordered I asked twice if they were sure tge pancakes were gf :) if they hsve peachy raspberry special, you have to try - regular or gf, delicious combo!

So here's the thing... the first time i went this place blew me away. Food was beyond great and plentiful. Above your average diner to be sure. Second time I had to take the better half. Well, the food was still good, though the portions were much smaller. Ordered differently so may be the issue. I will certainly try again but was a tiny bit let down. Leave yourself some time, it's a leisurely pace there.

Love coming here, always very yummy food, and I love hat you can get pure maple syrup instead of that fake stuff most restaurants serve.

Finally, a place for breakfast that has more than the standard diner fare! Six of us here for breakfast enjoyed offerings such as eggs florentine, home made corned beef hash, baked eggs with asparagus, fresh fruit parfait, and blueberry pancakes served with real maple syrup. All of the items were prepared with what appeared to be fresh, not frozen, ingredients. Even the more mundane items like the wheat toast seemed to be home made. The food quality and the presentation makes the slightly higher prices well worth our visit.

I've eaten here several times now and each time has been great. Plenty of gluten free choices on the menu as well. Pretty inexpensive with an atmosphere that is way better than a diner. More quaint and quiet.

We came here for breakfast/lunch when visiting the Allentown area. I was pretty surprised to see some creative and fresh options on their menu, I was expecting this place to be regular diner fare. There are tons of vegetarian options here, and all of their ingredients seemed fresh. They have a baked goods counter at the entrance, and we had some cheesecake that was pretty fantastic. The only negative was the service. We were seated quickly, and were always treated well, but service wasn't exactly professional. It took us quite a while to get our food after ordering, and our waitress kind of disappeared after that (even though we were the only people in there at the time). After we paid and left (splitting an $80 tab plus tips from the 6 of us), we got a call from them saying that one of our party members "didn't pay his bill". Apparently they saw us walk across the street to our motel and thought it necessary to call us over a 6 dollar dispute, when the money was left (with a good tip) on the table for the waitress. Service should be worked on, but otherwise this restaurant was very pleasant and a good find!

I agree with the other reviewer. Food is very good, a notch or 2 above diner food. Prices are also a bit more than typical diner prices, but still reasonable. If you order pancakes or french toast you'll be treated to real maple syrup. I can think of no other places that do this. I love real maple syrup and can't understand why people serve or eat the other stuff which is corn syrup with "maple flavor" yuck. The coffee is decent and they keep it coming. It can take a while to get your food, but no one will mind if it a bunch of girlfriends out for brunch who want to sit and chit-chat anyway. My #1 complaint? Why are they not open Sunday! That's always the day I want a relaxed and yummy brunch..

The food is good... Just don't go if you're in a hurry. Service is slow.

Service was good though slow. Server was friendly and helpful. Food was good, coffee was weak. Seating (booth) was uncomfortable, cushions need to be replaced. I would eat here again.
